Reed Wilson grew up in the St. Louis area before heading to Los Angeles to earn his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California. During his five years on the West Coast, he balanced a rigorous academic program with leadership roles, serving as president of the Undergraduate Architecture Student Council, while also studying abroad throughout East Asia. His travels took him to eight countries, where he explored both traditional and contemporary architecture, broadening his perspective on design.

Before joining Mitchell Wall, Reed gained experience with HNTB Architecture and Morphosis Architects, contributing to high-profile projects including the LAX Airport Expansion, the USC Football Performance Center, supportive housing developments in Skid Row, and large-scale hospitality projects in Saudi Arabia.

A highly accomplished graduate, Reed earned USC’s Global Scholar and Discovery Scholar distinctions, received First Place in the ACSA Design for Freedom Competition, and was honored with the Edward Allen Student Award.

Now happily back in his hometown, Reed brings a thoughtful, globally informed design perspective to every project. Outside the office, you’ll find him spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, traveling, weightlifting, snowboarding, experimenting with new recipes, or diving into his latest side project.
