When our client began telling us about his desires for his weekend getaway, we could not wait to get started.  Who wouldn’t want to design a contemporary cabin in the woods?  We started with a structural grid and developed a design from there.  We created staggered volumes to define individual spaces with interior space delineation occurring through ceiling plane and material shifts.  A unique stair, open floor plan, outdoor living, cantilevered dining room, and an amazing owner’s bath all are featured in this one-of-a-kind retreat.
