New Library Space for The Miriam School
The mission of Miriam School is to encourage children with multiple learning disabilities to recognize and successfully meet their potential. The school provides an individually-designed instructional program for children pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.
Miriam School opened its doors in 1956. Through their philanthropic endeavors and innovative pioneering efforts, a private school for children with learning disabilities emerged.
In 1993, Miriam School was transformed into a more accessible and modern educational facility for children with complex learning disabilities. The new building has centralized Occupational Therapy and Speech/Language Therapy rooms and classrooms that are each equipped with observation booths.
Every year, Mitchell Wall takes on one community project. In 2013, the project will be to provide services for the renovation of the library at Miriam School.
